the front seat belts for the Mazda rx8 are mounted to the rear half door

Seatbelts were mounted to the door to get around the airbag requirement. Pretty much all of GM was that way at the time. Didn't turn out unsafe in practice.

Maybe it just has a tire with an "active aspec ratio." AAR is big in my city it seems.

The seatbelts are part of the era. My CRX has them that way too.

For that amount of money being asked, there WILL be some issues. Those cars are not cheap to operate. Not crazy-expensive as a V12 BMW 7-series from the 1980s or 1990s, but definitely much more expensive to operate than other Nissans you could buy for that money.

Also consider as well that the automatic probably reduces the value as well.
